Hello - thanks for stopping by. I have been 'talking tennis' for more than 30 years. Having begun my broadcasting career in 1985 on local radio I started commentating and reporting on tennis in 1990 for the BBC World Service. Since then I have covered nearly 100 major championships, more than 20 Davis Cup and Fed Cup finals, plus countless other tournaments and ties. I moved from radio primarily into television in 1997.
From 2002-2018 I worked mainly for Sky Sports as a lead commentator, interviewer and reporter. My regular clients now include Amazon Prime Video, ATP Media, Eurosport, Wimbledon Radio Channel and the WTA.
I have also podcasted, written about tennis for a variety of publications, conducted on court trophy presentations and performed MC duties.
I am a former Chairman of the Lawn Tennis Writers' Association.
